Homes by Avi Group of Companies is seeking a professional, motivated, and energetic individual to join our sales team as a Sales Associate. Homes by Avi has been building family homes since 1978, with home building divisions in Calgary, Edmonton, and Austin, Texas.

Sales Associate - New Homes

You will work under the direction of the Sales Manager to support the Area Sales Managers in our Calgary and surrounding area community show homes and sales centres.

You are an energetic individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, has a high level of organizational skills and excels when working in goal oriented environments.

You are an individual who is resourceful and has a relentlessly positive, flexible, “do whatever it takes” attitude.

You are an individual who is self-motivated, focused, and works well independently while providing support to the Area Sales Managers.

What You Will Do

  • Support our customers through the sales process, from greeting them in the community through to accepting deposits for their new dream homes
  • Accurately and effortlessly explain our sales process through a high level of customer service and focus
  • Ensure professional representation of Homes by Avi and of the community
  • Review floor plans and specs with potential customers in order to select the home that is perfect for them
  • Actively collect and maintain guest information in the customer database
  • Assist Area Managers in developing and maintaining strong repeat and referral business with customers
  • Proactively research strategies and opportunities that contribute to new business pursuits
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to discover opportunities, assist with events and other initiatives that support sales targets

Your Qualifications – The Must Have’s

  • 2+ years of proven sales capability in an independent environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivator with strong organizational, intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator
  • Ability to use computer systems and experience with prospecting databases

Additional Skills – The Nice To Have’s

  • Experience in the home-building or construction development industry
  • Familiarity with residential mortgage instruments
