Job summary

JAK'S Beer Wine & Spirits is seeking a Service Champion for our Burnaby (Kingsway) location to live our passion for people and spirits. You will help customers choose products, stock shelves, and ensure an outstanding in-store experience.

We value polished customer service, product knowledge, teamwork, and the willingness to learn. Evening and weekend availability is needed, and you will join a friendly, family-owned team with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Polished customer service skills with an interest in beer, wine and spirits.
• Retail or customer service experience.
• Desire to continually learn new products.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and pairing suggestions.
• Receive orders, unload pallets and stock the sales floor.
• Educate guests about products and the story behind each bottle.
• Maintain store presentation and signage.
• Process sales at the till and ensure a positive in-store experience.
• Warehouse duties such as stocking shelves and pallet handling.

• Receive orders, unload pallets and stock the sales floor
• Educate guests about the product and what’s behind each bottle
• Maintain overall presentation of the store
• Process orders at the till, ensuring that each guest has an excellent in-store experience
• Warehouse duties (stocking shelves, unloading pallets, reorganizing the warehouse area, etc.)
