Job summary

RONA affiliated dealers across Canada are seeking a sales associate to greet customers, assess needs, and offer expert product advice in a retail environment. You’ll demonstrate merchandise through demos, highlight features, and suggest complementary items to drive satisfaction and sales.

You’ll help with merchandising, stay updated on new products, and support promotions while following loss prevention and safety policies in a community-focused store.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar sales role
• Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ensure an excellent customer experience
• Assess customer needs and provide well informed and specialized advice about products
• Present merchandise (including through demos), emphasize item features, and recommend complementary items
• Contribute to the merchandising of products in your department (e.g., displays, visual presentation, labelling, signage)
• Stay informed of new products and their technical applications
• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets
• Stay informed of promotions and flyers
• Work in accordance with the store’s policies and procedures on loss prevention and health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
