Job summary

Wine & Beyond is Western Canada’s largest liquor store, offering a wide selection and a dynamic team. We are seeking a Sales Associate to engage customers, process payments, stock shelves, and support a fast-paced store environment with a focus on service quality. A provincial certification is required or obtainable prior to start.

You will work with a knowledgeable team, enjoy staff discounts, and benefit from flexible scheduling while developing product knowledge in wine, spirits and beer.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
• Must hold a valid provincial certification (or be willing to obtain it before starting).
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout your shift.
• Ability to climb, use, and work on stairs, operate machinery when needed.
• Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Champion excellent customer service and ensure shelves are up to standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
