Hilton Foods Canada is seeking a Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator on a fixed 12‑month contract to lead health, safety and wellbeing initiatives on site. You will partner with managers to develop policies, conduct risk assessments, and foster a culture of safety across our facilities.

You will coach leaders, manage the safety management system, identify training needs, and ensure compliance with legislation while supporting employee wellbeing and incident prevention.

Formación

• Some experience in a global multi-site business.
• FMCG/food industry experience desirable.
• Knowledge of incident investigation best practices.
• Experience managing Occupational Health, health surveillance, and referrals.
• Experience with insurance and employee compensation claims.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement health, safety and wellbeing strategies and policies.
• Coach management to build safety culture.
• Provide clear health, safety and wellbeing guidance and support.
• Promote positive health and safety culture and improve performance.
• Respond to safety concerns raised by employees and stakeholders.
• Manage and develop the safety management system.
• Identify training needs and deliver training.
• Support risk assessments and audits.
• Facilitate communication across the company on health and safety.
• Chair safety meetings and participate in H&S initiatives.

General Certificate in Health & Safety

CRSP Designation or equivalent (working towards)
