Hilton Foods Canada is seeking a Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator on a fixed 12-month contract. The role focuses on partnering with managers to create a safe working environment and uphold local safety standards. On-site position with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and compliance across multi-site operations.

You will develop and implement safety strategies, coach leaders, conduct audits, and drive a positive safety culture while aligning with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
• Experience managing an Occupational Health provision including surveillance and referrals.
• Exposure to incident investigation and safety audits.

Responsabilités

• Develop and monitor health, safety and wellbeing strategies and policies.
• Coach management to build safety culture across sites.
• Provide timely safety guidance and operational support on all matters.
• Improve health, safety performance and communications flow.
• Lead audits and workplace inspections to identify improvements.
• Investigate accidents and prevent recurrence with corrective actions.
• Identify training needs and deliver required training.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain safety standards.
