Job summary

TEEMA in Langley, BC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives. You will report to the Plant Manager and drive a proactive safety culture across manufacturing operations, ensuring WorkSafeBC compliance and continuous safety improvement.

You will directly lead the Safety Coordinator, coordinate JOHSC meetings and trainings, manage incidents and corrective actions, monitor KPIs, and support the Return-to-Work program to protect our workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HSE leadership experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and claims management.
• Experience managing electronic safety systems.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; Post‑secondary education in OHS, Risk Management, or a related field (Diploma/Degree preferred).
• Designations: CRSP preferred; CSO or Occupational First Aid training is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
