Job summary

ManpowerGroup in North Vancouver, BC is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee site safety programs and regulatory compliance. You will develop and maintain policies, lead training, and coordinate incident investigations to drive a safer workplace.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in OSH, a CRSP designation or active pursuit, and at least 3 years of industrial experience. This role offers collaborative teamwork and growth within a safety-focused organization.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent, with related training.
  • CRSP designation or enrollment in a safety program leading to certification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on safety practices: lockout/tagout, confined space, hazard assessments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with computer applications.

Responsibilities

What's Needed?
  • University degree or equivalent technical training in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Recognized CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation or enrolled in a safety program leading to this certification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with industrial safety practices such as lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazard assessments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with computer applications
