Safety Manager

What's the Job?
- Ensure site compliance with all government-regulated safety and security requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain site safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Coordinate and conduct regulatory training sessions and maintain safety records
- Lead incident investigations and analyze site safety performance metrics
- Act as a liaison with government agencies, emergency responders, and community partners
What's Needed?
- University degree or equivalent technical training in Occupational Health & Safety
- Recognized CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation or enrolled in a safety program leading to this certification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with industrial safety practices such as lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazard assessments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with computer applications
