Job summary

Red Sun Farms is seeking a Safety and Compliance Coordinator for the Kingsville Corporate Office to ensure compliance with OHSA and regulations across Canada. The role focuses on developing and evaluating safety programs, conducting workplace inspections, and supporting ESG initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will lead safety training, document training records, manage audits and reporting, and coordinate Joint Health & Safety activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate the health & safety management system and initiatives.
• Stays updated on OHSA and regulations and recommends implementations.
• Assists in ESG development and maintenance as needed.
• Ensures compliance with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations.
• Coordinate and deliver health & safety training sessions and maintain training records.
