Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Vancouver is seeking a Safety Co‑Op/Internship for 4- or 8-month terms starting January 2027. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers hands-on safety experience on an active construction project or in the Vancouver office, under supervisor guidance.

Applicants are enrolled in an accredited Occupational Safety & Health program with a keen interest in construction safety, incident reporting, and training coordination. Flexible to site and office work settings.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college/university program in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Willingness to learn safety practices on active construction sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program implementation on site or in the office.
• Assist with safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Help manage safety inspections, recordkeeping, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with health and safety committees and supervisors.
