## Safety and Risk Compliance ManagerApply: Prince George, British Columbia: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR124793# **Spectrum Resource Group****The Position:** SRGSafety and Risk Compliance Manager**Type:** Full-time**Reports To:** WCH Manager Safety and Risk Compliance**About Us:**Wright Canada Holdings is a prominent leader in several environmental services industries, representing our family of companies across Canada and is comprised of Spectrum Resource Group, Wright Tree Service of Canada, ArborCare and CNUC of Canada.**Why Wright Canada Holdings:*** Pay rate of $75,000 to $95,000 annually.* Full benefits package.* Overtime, statutory holiday, and vacation pay.* Paid travel time, per diem and accommodations when away from home.* Employee ownership plan.* All equipment and tools supplied.**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead by example in promoting a safe work environment by consistently adhering to and reinforcing the company’s safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.* Provide daily support, guidance, and coaching to employees and supervisors to ensure a consistent and effective implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) program.* Offer expert advice and assistance as a resource for regulatory interpretation and guidance to Operations and Support Services teams to support the successful execution and maintenance of a robust OHS program.* Coordinate with Operations to understand and document internal and external training requirements for positions.* Deliver employee safety orientations, coordinate emergency response training, and organize both internal and external training sessions for operational staff.* Track various safety metrics and KPI’s (e.g. TRIR) to document compliance and support information requests for bid activities.* Support the development and maintenance of Job Hazard Analysis documents, Site Preparedness Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Hazardous Materials Inventory, and related procedures.* Participate in the review of workplace incidents and accidents, and coordinate investigations to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.* Assist in conducting joint field audits, providing recommendations to Operations and Support Services management for continuous improvement.* Support managers in identifying training needs and conducting gap analyses across all contracts to ensure workforce competency.* Coordinate and conduct internal audits required for maintaining SAFE and COR certifications.* Perform regular field visits throughout the year, with an expectation of increased site presence during peak operational periods.
