Job summary

Wright Tree Service, Inc. is seeking a Tree Planter for the 2027 spring season in Prince George, BC. This seasonal role involves planting seedling trees, handling seedlings, and ensuring correct spacing and quality while living in camp environments.

Expect to work May through August, provide your own basic camping gear, and participate in a safety-focused team culture; transportation and camp logistics will be managed locally.

Qualifications

• Commitment to spring and summer planting season (May–Aug).
• Ability to carry 50+ pounds and work in remote settings.
• English language proficiency (read, write, understand).

Responsibilities

• Plant seedling trees.
• Seedling handling and care.
• Planting location selection.
• Tree quality and spacing inspection.
• Accurately record and document the number of trees planted.
• Load boxes, move equipment and assist in set up or take down of camp infrastructure.
• Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright Canada Holdings culture of safety.
• Other duties as required.

Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification, or equivalent, is considered an asset.* Tree planters are responsible for bringing their own sleeping accommodation (e.g. tent, trailer), personal items including clothing, footwear, and toiletries.
