Job summary

Inline Group Inc. in Sherwood Park, Alberta, is seeking a Safety Administrator to support Challenger Geomatics’ Health and Safety Program. You will coordinate safety training, maintain records, and assist with site- and field-level safety tasks to ensure compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years in safety or admin, certification assets (NCSA/NCSO), and strong MS Office skills. A valid Class 5 license and highly organized mindset are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in safety or administrative role within construction, geomatics, engineering, or related industry.
  • NCSA, NCSO, or an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate is considered an asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintaining safety records and documentation.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Program Administration – support the day-to-day administration of Challenger’s Health and Safety Program, ensuring documentation and processes are maintained.
  • Training & Orientation Coordination – coordinate new employee safety orientations, arrange client and site-specific orientations, and track employee safety training and certifications.
  • Safety Documentation & Reporting – maintain safety records, monthly safety statistics, and assist with the preparation of job hazard assessments, project safety plans, and emergency response plans.
  • Inspections & Compliance Support – assist with field, office, and warehouse inspections and help track corrective actions.
  • Safety Equipment & Inventory – coordinate ordering and tracking of PPE, maintain safety equipment records (first aid kits, fire extinguishers, gas monitors), and ensure supplies are up to date.
  • Operational Coordination – book safety training, drug and alcohol testing, and assist with logistical coordination such as field crew travel when required.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience – 1–3 years of experience in a safety or administrative role within the construction, geomatics, engineering, or related industry.
  • Education & Certification – NCSA, NCSO, or an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate is considered an asset.
  • Technically Proficient – Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and maintaining safety records and documentation.
  • Highly Organized – Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and deadlines.
  • Licensed & Reliable – Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
