Job summary

The 401 Group is hiring a Customer-Focused RV and Auto Service Advisor in Winnipeg to be the friendly face of our service department. You will guide customers through a 5-star service experience from check-in to pick-up in a fast-paced, high-energy dealership environment.

Bring 1–2 years of service-advisor experience, RV familiarity, and a valid G license. Flexible hours including Saturdays are required; compensation is CAD 45,000–50,000 annually with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years as a service advisor or related customer service role.
• RV experience required or preferred.
• Dealership experience is a major asset.
• Valid G driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain auto services by listening to symptoms, inspecting the vehicle, and reviewing records.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage; explain provisions and exclusions.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, labour, and deductibles; calculate customer payments.
• Prepare repair orders with findings and required repairs; obtain approvals.
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and arranging communication.
• Maintain accurate records of problems and planned actions.
• Update job knowledge by reading manufacturers publications; participate in training.
• Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for a customer-focused, organized, and energetic Advisor to join our dynamic dealership team! As the first point of contact for service customers, you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth, professional, and friendly experience from check-in to pick-up.

Location: 3165 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg MB

Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 per year

What You Will Be Doing:

• Ascertain auto services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles
• Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation
• Maintain accurate records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Minimum 1 - 2 years as a service advisor, or in a related customer service role
• RV Experience
• Dealership experience considered a major asset
• Valid G Drivers License
• Able to work flexible hours within our business hours including Saturdays
