OMH Emergency Department in 100 Mile House, BC, invites physicians to practice in the ED with options for inpatient care, community clinic work, or a mix that fits your ideal rural practice. Shifts include 12-hour ER coverage and opportunities to teach students and residents.

The Rural NAVIG8 leadership program and RSA incentives enhance the role, with compensation aligned to the EM Area A offerings and potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• Special interest in Obstetrics is a benefit
• ER shifts are 12 hours, paid via APP
• Expectation to cover own inpatients
• Community rotation schedule for Doctor of the Day shifts
• Opportunity to teach students and residents
• Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.

Responsibilities

• Practice in ED, inpatient care, or a combination of both to build your ideal rural practice.
• Inpatient care and ER shifts with full-scope community clinic duties.
• Lead and teach students and residents when appropriate.
