Job summary

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Overflow team on a temporary full-time basis. The position supports inpatient surgical, medical, and overflow areas, with 12-hour day, night, and weekend shifts.

RPNs will contribute to assessment, care, and health promotion across units, as the hospital plans for winter surge capacity. A current RPN certificate and experience with Meditech Expanse are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is an asset.
• Coronary Care 1 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes within the scope of an RPN as a team member in assessment, treatment, provision of care and health promotion for all patients.
