Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse must be registered with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Current CPR certificate is required.
• Ability to operate office equipment and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, administer medications and treatments, assess, document, and assist with resident care.
• Review, update and evaluate resident care plans.
• Support person-centred care and aging-in-place initiatives in long-term care.
