Tacten Industrial Inc. is seeking a Rope Access JP Insulator to join our Fort McMurray team. The role includes a 14/14 rotation, 12-hour shifts, and fly-in/fly-out from major Canadian hubs with camp provided.

You will install insulation to meet project specifications and safety standards, collaborating with construction teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Applicants should hold Journeyman Insulator credentials, IRATA Level 1 or willingness to obtain, and relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Insulator certification or equivalent experience.
• IRATA Level 1 required or willingness to obtain.
• CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO certification.
• CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
• ESC Fall Protection is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Install insulation materials to prevent heat transfer and reduce energy use.
• Measure and cut insulation to fit areas.
• Secure insulation with fasteners and adhesives.
• Inspect insulation for wear or damage.
• Replace compromised insulation.
• Recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Consult with clients/project managers to determine needs.
• Advise on suitable materials and techniques for environments.
• Collaborate with construction/maintenance teams to ensure proper installation.

Position Summary

Position Information:

• Start Date: October 2026
• 14/14 rotation, 12-hour shifts
• Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
• Camp provided

Responsibilities

• Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
• Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
• Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
• Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.
• Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
• Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
• Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.
• Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.
