The Family Centre is seeking an individual to support families with a trauma-informed approach, aiding caregivers to increase parenting capacity, resilience, and familial connections. The role involves partnering with community organizations to provide programming, build resources, and promote positive engagement within the community.

The Family Centre is currently looking for an individual to provide support to families. We are focused on Trauma-Informed Care for both our communities and staff, and provide services based on research and evidence-based practices. Roots and Wings workers support families to improve overall functioning, working with caregivers to create healthy family environments. You will support caregivers to increase their parental capacity, resilience, and natural connections; viewing families that you are working with as having the potential for success. You will also play a role in the community by enhancing connections to resources and encouraging families to positively engage within their community.
