Job summary

Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites is seeking an entry-level management professional to support day-to-day activities of Rooms Operations, including supervision of Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS and Concierge/Guest Services. The role directs staff to ensure smooth guest arrival/departure and maintains the property’s cleanliness standards while helping achieve the operating budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes Front Desk shifts and housekeeping duties.
• Runs and reviews room operations reports and related data.
• Supervises Room Operations in absence of management.
• Verifies room rates and contributes to budget achievement.
• Ensures guest satisfaction and maintains property standards.
