Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott in Saskatoon is seeking a Rooms & Guest Services Operations leader to assist in managing all operations within the rooms departments, including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. The role focuses on improving guest and employee satisfaction while driving departmental financial performance.

Ideal candidates will have a related degree and several years of experience in guest services, front desk, or housekeeping, with a track record of leading teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing execution of operations in rooms area departments (Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping).
• Follows property-specific second effort and recovery plan.
• Publishes guest satisfaction results timely and manages guest feedback forms and letters.
• Takes proactive approaches when dealing with employee concerns.
• Leads and coordinates team scheduling against guest and occupancy goals.
• Performs hourly job functions as needed and supports business needs.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.

2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping.
