Job summary

Westin Edmonton is seeking an entry-level management professional to support daily Rooms Operations, including supervision of Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS and Concierge/Guest Services. You will guide front desk and room operations to ensure guest arrivals and departures meet standards and budgets.

The role requires an education credential and several years of relevant guest services experience, with on-site leadership responsibilities and budget-conscious duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services/front desk/housekeeping or related area.
• Alternative: 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes Front Desk shifts / Housekeeping and ensures completion of assigned shift checklist.
• Runs and reviews room operations reports.
• Supervises Room Operations in absence of management.
• Verifies room rates and assists in budgeting and payroll progress reports.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback and respond to problems and complaints.

Education
