Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will clean guest rooms, sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good English communication. Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays are available; prior housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.

Reports To: Working Housekeeper

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.69

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality play an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds and replacing linens
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, surfaces, and high-touch areas
• Vacuum, dust, and maintain overall room presentation
• Restock guest amenities and supplies
• Identify and report maintenance issues or damages
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with procedures
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs when required
• Support the housekeeping team and assist with additional tasks as needed

Working Conditions

Fast-paced hotel environment with structured room quotas and varying daily demands. Scheduling may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 25 lbs
