Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will clean guest rooms, sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good English communication. Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays are available; prior housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds and replacing linens.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, surfaces, and high-touch areas.
• Vacuum, dust, and maintain overall room presentation.
• Restock guest amenities and supplies.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or damages.
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs when required.
• Support the housekeeping team and assist with additional tasks as needed.
