Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and contribute to a memorable guest experience. This is a full-time, seasonal position across September, October, November, and December 2026, with continuing service through April and May 2027.

The starting pay is 21.65 CAD per hour, with wage increases after six months and at three years (to 28.40 CAD/hour). Experience in housekeeping is an asset, and staff perks include housing, meals, and travel

Qualifications

• Dusting, making beds, linen changes, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; update and record cleaned rooms to be assigned to check-in guests
• Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service

Job Description

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

This is a full-time, seasonal position, beginning across September, October, November, and December 2026 and ending in April and May 2027. Starting Rate of Pay: $21.65 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.40.
