Role Overview:

As a Room Attendant in our Housekeeping team, you will ensure guest rooms are cleaned according to established quality standards. You will handle stay-over and check-out rooms and coordinate with the Housekeeping Coordinator to prepare rooms for new guests.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Replace guest amenities and supplies
• Make beds and fold sheets
• Remove trash, linens, and room service items
• Greet guests and handle requests
• Organize and clean furniture, walls, and furnishings
• Vacuum and perform floor care
• Deep clean rooms and public areas as needed
• Stock cleaning carts and organize linen closets
• Accurately complete paperwork
• Use standard cleaning products adhering to health standards
• Assist with spills and guest requests
• Support colleagues in maintaining cleanliness
• Stand and move for up to 4 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs regularly; push/pull carts up to 250 lbs
• Perform bending, stooping, and reaching tasks
• Maintain safety standards and report unsafe conditions
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Provide a satisfactory criminal record check

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of sanitation standards
• Experience with cleaning machines is an asset (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation:

$21/hr
