Job Opportunity: Room Attendant at Hampton Inn & Suites - Kelowna Airport

If you are looking for a team that brings out the best in each other, has fun, and takes pride in their work, we want to hear from you! The Hampton Inn & Suites - Kelowna Airport is currently seeking a Room Attendant.

We are conveniently located on a bus route with a stop just outside the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle also picks up employees from the bus loop at UBCO.

What You Will Be Doing

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a neat and professional appearance (uniform clean, name tag on)
• Arriving at least 10 minutes before your scheduled shift
• Working well both independently and as part of a team
• Managing your time effectively and working efficiently under pressure
• Performing all cleaning duties physically and thoroughly
• Cleaning guest rooms within required time limits (14 or more rooms per day depending on occupancy)
• Paying attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in your work
• Maintaining and exceeding hotel cleaning standards
• Reporting maintenance issues, damages, and safety concerns
• Following lost and found procedures accurately
• Maintaining cleaning tools and carts, reporting any deficiencies
• Promoting hotel facilities and services to guests
• Greeting and assisting guests proactively
• Completing all required Brand Training and adhering to Brand Standards
• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas, including laundry when needed
• Managing linens, towels, and guest supplies
• Participating in room inspections and responding to feedback
• Using cleaning systems and chemicals safely and effectively
• Following health, safety, and security procedures
• Communicating concerns to hotel personnel accurately
• Assisting other departments as needed, including cross-training at sister properties
• Performing deep cleaning tasks with appropriate PPE and chemicals
• Participating in property walks and cleanup activities
• Working varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays
• Performing other duties as assigned by management
