Housekeeping Room Attendant

Hotel Victoria is currently looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. The role requires promoting a positive image of the property to guests and being pleasant, honest, friendly, and responsive to guest requests and problems.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Room Attendant is responsible for:

• Preparing rooms for cleaning
• Making beds according to hotel standards
• Replenishing guestroom and bath supplies
• Delivering and retrieving guest items like irons and ironing boards
• Performing rotation cleaning duties as required
• Maintaining work area and equipment standards
• Attending to guest calls, requests, and complaints
• Achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds without assistance, heavier with help
• Ability to push/pull a housekeeping cart over various surfaces
• Reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping capabilities
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
