Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park invites applications for a Room Attendant. You will contribute to a welcoming, luxurious guest experience by making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining spotless rooms to the highest Fairmont standards.

This permanent position features a pay rate of $20.06 per hour, a subsidized on-site staff housing option, meals, comprehensive benefits, and an employee travel program.

Qualifications

• Prior Housekeeping experience an asset.
• Physically capable of repetitive pushing, pulling, bending and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Making beds, changing sheets and towels.
• Cleaning washroom facilities including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, bathroom fixtures and others as assigned
• Vacuuming floors, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Dusting of furniture and fixtures
• Removal and sorting of linen, garbage and recycling
• Placing furniture to its original position and being attentive to the guests’ belongings by pairing shoes, folding clothes and ensuring that all other personal belongings are cared for.

Position Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: $20.06/hour

Job Duties Include

• Making beds, changing sheets and towels
• Cleaning washroom facilities including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, bathroom fixtures and others as assigned
