Job summary

First Nations Job is seeking a housekeeping assistant to maintain cleanliness and comfort throughout our facilities in Kamloops. Your responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry tasks, and restocking supplies for guest areas.

You will attend to guest requests, ensure towels and toiletries are available, and keep changing rooms, showers, and common areas clean. This role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs and draperies.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Clean and disinfect elevators.
• Attend to guests' requests for supplies.
• Provide basic information on facilities.
• Empty trash and pick up debris.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.
• Address guests' complaints or concerns.
