Job summary

Dignity Senior Living in Beaconsfield, QC is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold compassionate, resident-centered care while supporting housekeeping and laundry operations. You will help create a safe, clean and welcoming home for residents, families and the team.

• Perform housekeeping duties in resident suites, common areas and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers and glass surfaces
• Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
• Collect trash and transport clean and soiled linens appropriately
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute community laundry
• Inspect linens for wear and follow procedures for damaged items
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe, orderly condition
• Follow infection control, OSHA and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with resident needs and communicate updates to supervisors
• Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives
