Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Room Attendant to support housekeeping and laundry operations in a resident-centered community. You will clean resident suites, common areas and offices, maintain hygiene standards and assist residents with daily needs.

The role involves teamwork with supervisors and participation in engagement initiatives. This casual part-time position offers flexible hours, training, and the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming, safe home for residents

Qualifications

• Perform housekeeping duties in resident suites, common areas and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers and glass surfaces.
• Follow infection control, OSHA and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with resident needs and communicate updates to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe, orderly condition.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute community laundry.
• Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms.
• Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives.
