Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supplies, is looking for an energetic warehouse associate to load bundles of shingles and related products onto rooftops, and to support driver deliveries. You will perform warehouse duties including moving inventory, shipping and receiving, while maintaining a clean, safe store and yard.

Requirements include physical strength, ability to work at heights, and a customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided).
• Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided).
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred.
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products.
• Loading/unloading and assisting driver for safe delivery of products.
• Perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Maintain clean and organized store and yard.
• Adhere to health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
• Other duties as required.
