Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, is seeking an energetic warehouse associate to join our team in Alberta. This role involves safely loading bundles of shingles to roofs, moving inventory, and handling shipping and receiving in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the driver to ensure safe, on-time deliveries, maintain clean work areas, and follow all health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Physical strength and stamina required to lift 80–100 lbs repeatedly.
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training is an asset.
• Valid Forklift License is an asset.
• Previous warehouse or labor experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Load bundles of shingles and related products to roofs.
• Work with driver to ensure safe and efficient deliveries.
• Move inventory using hand tools and appropriate equipment.
• Perform warehouse duties: moving, shipping, and receiving.
• Keep store and yard clean and organized; follow safety rules.

Job Responsibilities

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
• Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
• Required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving, when not on deliveries
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided)
• Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred
• Previous experience as a General Laborer/Laborer - an asset
• Previous experience as Warehouse Associate, Construction Helper, Manual Laborer would be beneficial
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada
