Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, is hiring for a Rooftop loader/shipper and receiver. You will load shingles and related products onto roofs, assist with delivery coordination with drivers, and handle materials with care while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work at heights. Training for fall protection and forklifts can be provided.

Qualifications

• Requires physical strength and the ability to work at heights.
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training is an asset (can be provided).
• Valid Forklift License is an asset (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of roofing industry is an asset.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products.
• Collaborating with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product.
• Handling material by hand and with appropriate equipment.
• Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping and receiving product and inventory.
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged and double checked.
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in store and yard.
• Adhering to all health and safety rules, regulations and legislation.
• Other duties as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required
