Job summary

Roofmart in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a reliable Shipper and Receiver to safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory. You will ensure orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked, while supporting tapered insulation fabrication and metal shop operations as needed.

Qualified candidates hold a valid forklift license, can lift 80–100 lbs, and have experience in shipping and receiving. Authorized to work in Canada; previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push and carry up to 80–100 lbs.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, shipping, and receiving product
• Ensure orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked
• Assist with tapered insulation fabrication and metal shop operations as required
• Comply with health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked
• Assisting as required with tapered insulation fabrication
• Assisting as required with metal shop operations
• Complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift License (training can be provided)
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs
• Previous Shipping and Receiving Experience
• Customer service skills
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred
• Authorized to work in Canada

Salary range: $20 - $22 per hour
