Coast Mountain Roof Ltd. seeks a Roofing Site Surveyor to support our commercial roofing sales and estimating team. The role involves visiting properties, taking accurate roof measurements, documenting conditions and providing complete information to the estimating team.

This field-based position requires regular travel to customer sites in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley and is not remote.

Formación

• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license with suitable driving record.
• General knowledge of roofing systems, components and common problems.
• Familiarity with the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to safely perform ladder-use, roof-access and field-survey duties with accommodation.
• Ability to work independently, manage site appointments and document findings accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Take detailed photographs and prepare accurate survey reports.
• Identify roofing deficiencies and potential leaks, noting site-access conditions.
• Communicate professionally with property managers and owners.
• Submit survey information to the estimating team within 24 hours of visits.
• Follow safety procedures and WorkSafeBC requirements when working at heights.
• Coordinate site visits and maintain accurate records.

Roofing Site Surveyor

Location: Langley, BC -- Field-based position servicing the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley

Job type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 CAD per hour

Schedule: Full-time

About the position

Coast Mountain Roof Ltd. is seeking a Roofing Site Surveyor to support our commercial roofing sales and estimating team. The successful candidate will visit commercial and multi-family properties, take accurate roof measurements, document roofing conditions and provide complete information to our estimating team.

This is a field-based position involving regular travel to customer sites. It is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial and multi-family roof surveys throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
• Measure roofing areas and document roof systems, components and conditions.
• Take detailed photographs and prepare accurate survey reports.
• Identify roofing deficiencies, potential leaks and relevant site-access conditions.
• Communicate professionally with property managers, building owners and other clients.
• Submit completed survey information to the estimating team within 24 hours of site visits.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable WorkSafeBC requirements when working at heights.
• Coordinate site visits and maintain accurate records.

Required qualifications

• Valid full BC Class 5 driver's license and driving record meeting applicable job-related requirements.
• General knowledge of roofing systems, roofing components and common roofing problems.
• Familiarity with the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to safely perform essential ladder-use, roof-access and field-survey duties, with accommodation where applicable.
• Ability to work independently, manage site appointments and document findings accurately.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in commercial roofing, construction, inspections or estimating.
• Fall-protection training or certification.
• Experience with CompanyCam, Roofr, EagleView or similar software.
• Roofing apprenticeship or Red Seal experience.

Compensation and benefits

• $34.00 CAD per hour.
• Extended benefits after 90 days, subject to plan eligibility.
• RRSP matching after one year, subject to plan terms.

• Required safety equipment and personal protective equipment supplied.

Working environment

This position involves outdoor work, commercial roof access, work at heights and the safe use of extension ladders and survey equipment.
