Silver Hills Bakery is seeking a Robotics Specialist to design, develop, and maintain robotic systems that boost production efficiency and product quality across our facilities. The role requires hands-on automation expertise and collaboration with engineering and production teams to implement robust solutions.

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with travel to our Rossville facility, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, and continually improving equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certification, or degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience working with Robotics
• Experience with Fanuc and ABB Robots a strong asset
• Experience with PLCs and HMIs
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and TCP/IP networking
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Proficiency in Solidworks or Inventor
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrical and mechanical problems.

POSITION: Robotics Specialist REPORTS TO: Projects and Engineering

This role will require approximately 50% travel to our facility in Rossville Tennesse

We are looking for a Robotics Specialist to join our team. The Robotics Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robotic systems that optimize production efficiency and product Quality at Silver Hills production facilities. The ideal candidate should be a creative problem-solver with experience in Robotics, Automation and Control Systems.

The Robotics Specialist will work in a multi-team environment alongside Engineering and Production as required. You will work collaboratively with the design, engineering, and production teams, as well as maintenance and quality assurance, to continuously improve equipment, systems, and facilities engaged in the development and production of Silver Hills’ innovative products.
