Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Construction Contract Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MTO or Municipal infrastructure construction.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Administer medium to large civil contracts of varying complexity.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications, tender documents, and quality standards.
- Mentor and coach junior staff.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Knowledge of OPSS and OPSD
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
Knowledge of construction survey and layout
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Education
Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering
Registration as a professional engineer with PEO
Designation as Road Construction Senior Inspector (RCSI)
