Job summary

Actualisation: HR Solutions for Businesses is seeking a Road Technician in Ottawa to perform periodic maintenance and diagnose/repair electric forklifts, docks and pallet trucks. You will travel between customer sites in a provided service vehicle and maintain the equipment's mechanical condition.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and bilingual English/French. 2 years repair experience and a mechanical license or certificate are assets; teamwork and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer equipment in a cost-effective manner.
• Update skills and qualifications as technology advances.
• Carry out repairs in compliance with manufacturer's safety recommendations.
• Maintain health and safety vigilance in the performance of tasks.
• Keep work environment clean, clear and safe.
• Ensure tools used are in good condition.

Benefits

Salary; 55,000 to 75,000 depending on experience + full fringe benefits

• The high frequency and complexity of interactions require the use of English, particularly as these exchanges occur regularly with customers and suppliers located outside Quebec.
