CIMA+ is hiring an Intermediate Road Safety Engineer in Ontario. You will support the transportation safety practice, participating in Vision Zero planning, data collection, network screening, and safety reviews. You’ll work with senior professionals on diverse projects from planning to implementation.

The role offers exposure to data-driven analysis, stakeholder engagement, and opportunities for training and career growth within a people‑focused, employee‑owned firm.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Road Safety.
• Professional Engineering (PEO) designation is required.
• Knowledge of OTM Books, TAC/MTO Design Guides, MUTCDC, HCM, HTA is preferred.
• Proficient with traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS) and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with senior technical staff to develop high-quality, technically accurate end products.
• Conduct site visits, field observations, and field measurements.
• Collect and process data to support road safety initiatives.
• Communicate with clients and team members.
• Undertake research and literature reviews for various projects.
• Conduct statistical analysis in support of road safety modeling.
• Coordinate public and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
