Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking an Intermediate Road Safety Technologist to support our growing Ontario transportation practice. You will work on Vision Zero planning, data collection, network screening, and safety reviews across rural and urban settings.

You will collaborate with senior professionals, participate in literature reviews, and contribute to stakeholder engagement while developing your technical writing and analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Road Safety.
• Transportation Engineering Technology diploma.
• Knowledge of OTM Books, TAC/MTO Design Guides, MUTCDC, HCM, HTA.
• Proficient with traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior technical staff to develop high-quality end products.
• Conduct site visits, field observations and field measurements.
• Conduct data collection and processing in support of road safety initiatives.
• Communicate with Clients and other team members.
• Undertake research and literature reviews for various projects.
• Conduct statistical analysis in support of road safety modelling.
• Prepare Technical Reports, proposals, and presentations.
