CIMA+ is seeking an Intermediate Road Safety Engineer to support our Ontario transportation practice, with exposure to Vision Zero, data collection, network screening, and safety reviews.

You will work with senior professionals across planning, design, and traffic safety; this role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to advance technical and leadership skills while contributing to resilient communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in road safety.
• 4-year civil engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer (PEO) licensure.
• Knowledge of OTM Books, TAC/MTO Design Guides, MUTCDC, HCM, HTA.
• Proficient with traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with senior staff to produce high-quality road safety deliverables.
• Conduct site visits, field observations and data collection.
• Analyze data to support road safety initiatives and modelling.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders during projects.
• Assist with literature reviews and project research.
