Job summary

The Ministry of Transportation in Ontario is seeking a skilled professional to supervise road maintenance contracts and ensure adherence to specifications. Qualifications

Valid class G driver's licence or equivalent.
Experience with road maintenance, inspection and repair.
Knowledge of contract administration and related acts.
Strong supervisory and planning abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Administer area maintenance contracts for transportation facilities; ensure work meets contract documents and specifications.
Monitor contractors' delivery of maintenance and repair operations.
Ensure contractors maintain work records.
Monitor financial forecasts and expenditures.
Provide analytical support to ensure effective delivery and value for money.
