Job summary

The Care Group seeks an Associate Director of Wellness to lead the Wellness Department, ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centred care aligned with ALR standards and provincial regulations. The role includes clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and team development.

The successful candidate will oversee assessments, PSPs, care coordination, and performance improvement, fostering a collaborative, patient-focused care culture across the community.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration in good standing with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing experience, with at least 3 years in leadership/management.
• Strong knowledge of ALR standards, BC healthcare regulations, resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the Wellness Department and ensure safe, resident-centred care.
• Oversee resident assessments, PSP development, and coordination with health professionals.
• Lead quality improvement, audits, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor licensed nurses and wellness staff; support recruitment and succession planning.
• Coordinate admissions, transitions, and move-in assessments to ensure seamless care.
