Qualifications
- RN or RPN license in Ontario
- BScN preferred
- CNA Community Health Nursing certification preferred
- Membership with RNAO/RPNAO desirable
- Knowledge of Mental Health Act, Healthcare Consent Act, Privacy Act and related legislation
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to nursing and front-line staff in delivering care
- Coach and mentor clinical supervisors on care delivery and staff support
- Monitor care delivery performance and clinical indicators
- Coordinate on-call schedules for clinical supervisors
- Ensure completion of mandatory training and skill development
- Review safety incidents and participate in investigations and resolutions
- Collaborate with Health Care team, contractors and funders
- Engage in CQI activities and problem-solving teams
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures and legal requirements
