Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time critical care position in Riverview, FL. The role involves 4 shifts of 10 hours each (0600-1630) with call shifts, performing comprehensive assessments, creating care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families on conditions and self-management.

Required RN licensure and BLS certification; Associate’s degree in Nursing is required with a Bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.

• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
