Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift. You will assess, plan, and coordinate patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver quality outcomes.

This full-time position requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and excellent communication. You will work nights in a supportive environment aligned with the healing ministry of AdventHealth.

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
• RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and analyzes patient health status on admission and ongoing.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Directs and coordinates patient care activities to ensure quality delivery.
• Documents all patient care, assessments, plans, interventions, and responses.
• Transcribes and implements physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Provides patient education based on assessed needs.
• Monitors outcomes and evaluates intervention effectiveness.
• Adheres to nursing standards and maintains licensure and certifications.
• Participates in performance improvement and policy updates.
• Demonstrates awareness of patients' physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs.

Job Description:

• Night Shift
• Assesses and analyzes the health status of patients comprehensively upon admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Formulates and updates individualized patient care plans based on assessment data in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
• Directs, implements, and coordinates patient care activities to ensure the delivery of quality care.
• Communicates and documents all patient care, including assessments, plans, interventions, patient responses, and follow-up.
• Transcribes and directs the implementation of physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Provides patient education based on assessed needs and evaluates understanding.
• Conducts ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and documents the effectiveness of interventions and strategies.
• Adheres to nursing department standards, completes competency testing, and maintains current licensures and certifications.
