Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is seeking a part-time RN to join the Nursing Resource Team – Surgical. You will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining PFCC principles.

The role offers a values-based environment with a focus on patient-centered care, ongoing education, and participation in a strong pension plan and benefits package.

Competenze

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current certification in BCLS.

About the role:

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patientsand families. Reporting to the Manager, Nursing Resource Team, with a matrix tothe Surgical Unit Managers, as a member of the Nursing Resource Team you will be responsible for providingquality nursing care to patients including complex patient populations whose outcomes are not predictable. As part ofa multidisciplinary health care team, you will practice within the Professional Standards of the College ofNurses of Ontario, the Philosophy of patient and family centered care, mission vision, Values and the policies of ThunderBay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a member of the Nursing Resource Team, you will be part of a dynamicteam of skilled and knowledgeable Nurses who provide patient care. The Nursing Resource Team is an opportunityfor Nurses to acquire and maintain competencies in varied patient care areas.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College ofNurses of Ontario
• Current certification in BCLS
• Ability to use the Nursing Process (assessment, planning,implementation, evaluation) in conjunction with her/his basic and ongoing knowledge to arrive at individualized careplanning and delivery
• Collaborates and provides consult to Registered PracticeNurse's when patients assigned to the RPN become unstable or have outcomes that are not as expected
• Identify and recognize abnormal or unexpected patient responsesand take appropriate action
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple nursing interventions
• Strong interprofessional and communication skills

Salary Range: $41.150 to 58.980
