Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse for Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg. The role focuses on post-acute neuro surgical care with leadership within the care team and discharge planning. Evening and weekend shifts in person, 0.60 FTE, 7.75 daily hours, supportive of Indigenous knowledge and strong patient advocacy.

Minimum one year of medical/surgical experience is required; PANSU and rehab nursing are preferred. CRNM registration and BCLS certification are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and BCLS certification.
• Experience in medical/surgical settings; PANSU and rehabilitation nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional RN services for patients with complex needs.
• Lead within the healthcare team and coordinate patient care and discharge.
• Administer prescribed treatments and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
